Iconic Sign
This picture of a firehydrant is an example of an iconic sign because it most closely resembles the thing it is supposed to represent, like the other picture I have provided of a real fire hydrant.
Two-Point Perspective
The photo of this building demonstrates an example of two point perspective because the horizon line which is the bottom corner of the building in the middle, and the diagnol lines that proceed from the bottom out on both sides are even and would continue to meet at the same point.

Gestalt- Proximity
Axial Balance
This photo of my sunglasses is an example of axial balance, also called formal balance, because is has an even balance on both side of its imaginary axis that cuts down the middle.
Warm Colors
Asymmetrical Balance
This photo is an example of asymmetrical balance because of the tree to the right makes the right side of the photo appear heavier. This example of deliberate imbalance creates a visual excitement and adds stress to the photo.
Cool Colors
This picture I took out in the country is an example of cool colors because of the blues and and greens. With the blues and greens in nature like this, this picture gives a calming, soft, and cheerful effect.
Textual Gradient
This picture of the rail road tracks is an example of textual gradient, because as the track recedes to a vanishing point the tracks(pieces of wood) appear closer together.
Chiaroscuro Lighting
This picture of my nephew is an example of Chiaroscuro Lighting because the difference in lighting and shadow is strongly emphasized. The part of his face that is shown next to the dark shadow gives an emotional and powerful effect, as if he were hiding.
Figure-Ground Relationship
This picture demonstrates figure ground relationship because the leaping frog, fish, and decorative design are the positive space that dominates the picture, as well as what we pay attention to. The ground which is everything else in the picture, the negative/darker space.
